Upgrade PolicyActiveX Controls for VB · Product Updates All our products include free product updates for life. Product updates include bug fixes, security patches, and may also include new features. Updates include minor-point revisions as well. For example, if you purchase version 1.0 of a product, you will receive 1.1 through 1.9 of the product as they are released for no additional charge.
Product Upgrades When we release a new version of one of our products (a major upgrade), there is normally a small upgrade fee that must be paid to obtain the new release. Major upgrades are when the version number is incremented (for example, 1.0 to 2.0). If you have purchased the earlier version within six months of the new release, you will be eligible to receive the upgrade for free. The upgrade fee will vary depending on the product, but will never exceed 50% of the price of the new release.
